Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship

The Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship is the highest research award given to graduate students at University of Michigan. This fellowship seeks to support students working on dissertations that are unusually creative, ambitious and risk-taking.

Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award

The Outstanding GSI Award is the highest teaching award given to graduate students at the University of Michigan, with fewer than 1% of graduate students winning the award. The award recognizes the efforts and accomplishments of GSIs who demonstrate demonstrate superb skill in teaching, mentoring and advising.

Community of Scholars Fellowship

Offered through The Institute on Women and Gender (IRWG), this fellowships supports University of Michigan graduate students who are engaged in scholarly research or other creative projects focusing on women, gender or sexuality.

The Rackham Merit Fellowship recognizes entering students who have outstanding academic qualifications, show exceptional potential for scholarly success, and demonstrate promise for contributing to wider academic, professional, or civic communities. 

Rackham Merit

Offered through University of Michigan's psychology department, this competitive award recognizes research that addresses issues related to diversity, including questions pertaining to ethnicity, race, gender, sexual identity, and/or socioeconomic status.

Psychology Faculty Diversity Research Award

San Francisco State University Graduate Student Awards for Distinguished Achievement are conferred on students who have earned a distinguished record for academic performance and contribution in the major field. 

Graduate Award for

Awarded to University of California, Berkeley students, this fellowship supports high-caliber, underrepresented students by providing resources and support to maximize their educational experiences and leadership opportunities during college and beyond.
